Challenge
Inneract Project’s Uplift programme connects mentors and mentees, and it needed a product that could activate new members quickly, keep conversations flowing, and show the team what was actually working.
Approach
I own features end to end on the Next.js and Node.js web platform, and redesigned the onboarding and communication flows to improve activation. I built an analytics tool on Firebase and Node.js that powers engagement and retention measurement for the product and growth teams, then developed a React Native mentor–mentee app with real-time messaging and scheduling and submitted it to the App Store and Play Store.
Outcome
Activation improved through the redesigned onboarding, organic visibility grew from SEO work across the site, and the team now makes decisions from its own engagement data.
